Turner provided Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Union Bank (Union Bank) construction management services for the build-out of their multi-floor headquarters, located at 1221 Avenue of the Americas. Completed in phases to accommodate their occupancy requirements, the headquarters on floors 6 through 8, features a conference center, raised flooring throughout and an array of high-end finishes such as custom millwork and imported stone. Infrastructure upgrades included new cooling towers, UPS system and supplemental HVAC. The 200,000 s.f. headquarters also features a design-built staircase connecting all three floors.

Key to meeting the owner’s schedule was Turner’s ability to turn-over the 6th floor ahead of schedule while construction continued on the 7th and 8th floors. Furthermore, Turner was able to safeguard the entire project’s schedule by pre-purchasing long lead items such as, lighting fixtures, electrical switch gear and air handling units. All of which were procured through Turner’s Logistics division. Completed ahead of schedule and within budget, the headquarters is the fifth project Turner has completed for Union Bank.
